All Weather Adventures
We can’t get enough of outdoor play and the brilliant benefits it has for children’s learning. Which is why, whether it’s sunshine or showers, we head outside every day to play and explore freely.
Being active and moving our bodies is a big part of our nursery routine. From energetic Playball and joyful dance lessons to daily walks to our outdoor space pushing mini wheelbarrows, children have bountiful opportunities to move, run, jump, climb and dig. Being physical outdoors not only helps develop core strength and co-ordination but also supports emotional well-being by helping the children feel connected to, and grounded, in nature.
Our Exclusive Outdoor Learning Spaces
We’re lucky enough to have exclusive, year-round access to not one but two outdoor spaces. One connected to the pavilion, and a secret glade in a secluded corner of the playing fields.
Both these spaces form a fundamental part of the children’s enjoyment and education, offering them the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities, and experience all the benefits of nature.
